Lucan Educate Together NS pupils marked their first week back at school by celebrating World Book Day on Friday the 5th March.
Children could dress up as their favourite book characters, or wear their pyjamas and get cozy with a book.
There were some fantastic costumes, and of course, lots of reading!

Martina’s class have been learning about bullying. They say ‘No to Bullying’ and the class signed an antibullying class agreement. First class learned about Buddhism and drew beautiful Buddhas!
Andrea’s 1st class were lucky enough to go to Lucan Library to see Dave’s Jungle and his extraordinary animals… Imagine our surprise when we got to hold snakes, chameleons, tarantualas, iguanas… A fun-filled day for all!
