ImagineNation is a playbook created by ‘ Childrens’ Books Ireland ‘ with An Post. Children can take some time to draw, read, write and create with activities, puzzles, poems and short stories from some of Ireland’s best children’s writers and illustrators.
Creative Bursts are short creative activities, uploaded every day, for children to complete at home. Children’s author Sarah Webb films an online workshop every day. There are great story starters, poetry and a whole range of other activities for children to try at home.
This is a digital library for kids offering access to 40000 of some of the best children’s books of all time. The children can build their own collections, rate what they’ve read and take a quiz after they’ve read a book.
RadioBlogging is a daily online radio show that inspires children’s creative writing and enables them to share their writing with other children all over the world. The radio show is hosted by four expert educators. It is streamed live every morning at 9.30 a.m. on the website – with recorded versions of previous shows also available and a range of resources to support children’s writing.

Remember – what is most important is that children enjoy learning Gaeilge. Just watching or listening to Gaeilge is helpful. They (or you) do not need to understand every single word that is being said. You will gain lots of meaning from pictures and sounds.
Séideán Sí is an Irish-language website to support children’s learning of ‘Gaeilge’. At the beginning, you will be asked to ‘Roghnaigh do chanúint’. This means to choose a dialect – there are three different dialects in Ireland. Choose ‘Connachta’. Then choose your child’s class and pick an activity.
