We would like to advise you of the measures that we have undertaken to ensure your child’s return to school is as safe as possible, as follows:
- Hand sanitizing stations in each classroom
- Extensive signage and floor markings around the school – classrooms, corridors, stairwells etc.
- Non-touch pedal bins in bathrooms and classrooms
- Warm water availability at all sinks
- Hygiene packs provided to all staff for in-class usage
- Visors and face masks provided for staff
- Non-contact thermometers available on each floor (temperatures will only be taken with parent’s consent and if a child is displaying symptoms of Covid 19)
- On-site cleaner for extra cleaning during the school day
- Classroom layout to support social distancing
- Plastic gates to split yard to ensure social distancing between classes on both yards
- Staggered break times allowing for each “bubble” to play separately on yard
- Widening of foot paths in vicinity of school to allow for ease of movement accessing and exiting the school grounds
- Plan in progress for accessing / departing school grounds to support social distancing measures. Update to follow.

5th Class | 2.40pm | |
1st Class (Andrea’s) | 2.40pm
Outreach Classes | 1.40pm / 2.40pm |
Arrival Time | Classes | Departure Time |
9.10am | Senior Infants | 1.50pm |
Junior Infants – September 2020
Sept 1st – 4th | 9.30am – 11.15am
Sept 7th – 11th | 9.15am – 12.00pm
Sept 14th – 18th | 9.15am – 12.00pm |
From September 21st Junior Infants children will be in for a full day from 9.10 a.m. to 1.50 p.m. daily
We very much appreciate your co-operation with this measure, which ensures that the school “limits interaction on arrival and departure from school”, in line with advice from the Department of Education and Skills (DES). Only children for the relevant class should be in the yard at the arrival time. Siblings should remain outside the school grounds until their allocated time.
